松下村塾の教育

松下村塾しょうかそんじゅくの教育きょういく

松陰しょういんと塾生じゅくせいが共ともに学まなぶということがその基本方針きほんほうしんであり、「余よ（松陰しょういん）は穏おだやかに人ひとを諭さとし、自みずから悟さとり自みずから省かえりみる所ところあらしむる様ようにと心掛こころがくるものなり」と言いわれていたと、塾生じゅくせいが書かき遺のこしているように、自主的じしゅてきな学習がくしゅう、個性尊重こせいそんちょうの教育きょういくを目指めざしていた。また、細こまかい規則きそくにとらわれないのは、形式的けいしきてきなものではなく、より誠実せいじつな人間関係にんげんかんけいをつくり出だしたかったからである。実家じっかの杉家すぎけの米こめつき台だい（台柄だいから）が残のこされているのは、勤労きんろうと学問がくもんの両方りょうほうを大切たいせつに考かんがえていたからである。

Education on Shokasonjuku Academy

The fundamental principle of Shokasonjuku Academy was that Yoshida Shoin and his students learned together. It was said, "I (Yoshida Shoin) should calmly instruct others and realize myself and be introspective myself." The students left this record, indicating their commitment to self-directed learning and respecting individuality in education.
Furthermore, their avoidance of strict rules was not about mere formal ones but aimed at creating more sincere human relationships.
The preservation of the Sugi family's rice-hulling platform (daigara) reflects their value of both labor and education, as they considered the importance of both aspects.
